Horses, Wine AND Beer
We went on the Beer,Wine & Horses tour on Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Anthony kept us well informed on the day and we appreciated his sense of humour. The horses were wonderful to meet and each one had its own unique character. The morning tea was great with fantastic fresh scones straight from the oven.
The Gisborne Peak winery was lovely and the woodfired pizza was yummy. Enjoyed the tasting at Holgate Brewery and looking over the processing of the ales.
All in all a wonderful relaxing day taking in some excellent venues and meeting some wonderful horses.
Thanks for a great day.

Random Questions
I booked the full day tour (Flemington, MCG, F1 track, Games Village, lunch, Rod Laver and then the National Sports Museum) for me and 2 sports crazy visitors from Brisbane. We had Anthony as our tour guide and he was AWESOME! I have lived in Melbourne for many years and learnt so much about our sporting history and venues, as well as a lot about Melbourne itself. Anthony could answer all the random questions that came his way too and was very friendly. I highly recommend using Melbourne Sports Tours and will be using them again!! Thank you so much for a fantastic day!! Sept 2016 Sandy R
Hook Turn Help
I had a wonderful time and learned so much about the sports culture not only of Melbourne, but Australia as a whole. Tony made the day fun, engaging and shared so much wonderful information with us. He also gave us a ton of information about the general culture in Melbourne, which for someone who had never been before was incredibly helpful.
He even explained to me how to do a hook-turn, as I shared that I was nervous about having to drive in Melbourne (and Australia) for the first time the following day. He is a fantastic guide, who shows a true passion for sports and working with people. It was an excellent day.

Grand SLam
Anthony was just awesome as our tour guide!
Friendly, witty and so knowledgable!
Back in the USA, we would call our experience a Grand Slam!!
Standing at Rafael Nadal's locker was the highlight for Janene!
Horses, Wine, Beer & Scones
We absolutely loved the tour, it was a real highlight!
The only thing I can "complain" about...we had no idea (we booked via getyourguide) that we get this massive, yummy scones with our tea, and had a big breakfast before in the hotel and so no place to eat this scones which was a real pitty ;)
Thank you for the great day out!
Kind regards, Bettina Aug 2017
Do yourself a favour
Fabulous day, visiting Flemington Race Course,MCG, The National Sports Museum, Grande Prix track, Commonwealth games village and lunch at Etihad Stadium. A small group of 10 on a small bus was definitely the best option. One of my friends on the tour was not sport inspired, but was really impressed with this tour. ...Do yourself a favour and experience the wonderful Melbourne sporting culture. Great day out,9am to 4pm,with lunch included..thankyou to channel 7 canteen at Etihad Stadium...a very generous, lovely lunch.
Horse Talk
Phillip and I would like to extend our thanks to Tamara for hosting a lovely day on the Horses, Wine and Beer Tour. Tamara was most welcoming, knowledgeable and well organised from the moment she arrived at Federation Square. The weather was not too kind on Sunday but Tamara ensured we didn’t tangle with any inclement weather during the paddock tour of the Racing Champions, as she followed us with the bus in case the heavens opened up (which they did at the last paddock). Our small group was quite friendly and got on well throughout the day and enjoyed Tamara’s commentary and highlights of Melbourne and our surrounds especially for the interstate and overseas visitors on the bus.Best wishes for the rest of 2017 and thanks again for a wonderful day.
